Domain Name Sales Activity – 17th April to 30th April (Part 1 of 2)

In what has become somewhat a norm of late, the last fortnight has seen everything running at breakneck speed. In fact, it’s been so busy over this period that once again we’ll bring you this sales report over the course of 2 parts. In total, there were 8 premium domain sales and this time the price range was quite notable. In part 1 we cover 4 of the domain names in question. Making our way up from the bottom of this impressive list, the first name we are profiling is ecospace.com.au. With an acquisition price of $1,149.45, the name edges […]

Domain Name Sales Activity – 27th March to 16th April (Part 2)

In Part 2 of this domain name sales report, we detail the top 4 selling names between the 27th of March and 16th of April. With the top sale price, liquorstore.com.au represented an astute acquisition by a Melbournian sole trader who paid $2,194.45 for the descriptive keyword name. Currently parked with Netfleet, the name has immediate and obvious appeal supporting a retailer of alcohol products. Alternatively, the name could be used by an aggregator site to compare or inform consumers about liquor stores closest to their location. It’s no secret Australians love a drink or two. And with shoppers increasingly […]

Domain Name Sales Activity – 27th March to 16th April (Part 1)

The last three weeks leading up to Easter were nothing short of a frenzy of activity for domainers and business owners. In this time, we saw 10 premium domain names sell for over the $1,000 threshold. While all the names were within a reasonably tight price range, the sales demonstrate the consistency in the quality of names Netfleet is able to bring its clients. Here are the details on 6 of the names in Part 1 of this 2-part edition of our premium domain sales report. One of our clients spotted an opportunity to add 2 valuable names to their […]

Domain Name Sales Activity – 6th March to 26th March

It’s been three weeks since our last domain name sales report, and in this time we’ve been able to act as an intermediary for five premium domain transactions. While there were no acronyms this time around, keywords were in hot demand. The leading sale for the period was a versatile keyword, fans.com.au. The name can serve in the home fittings or appliances sector, as well as in the generic sense for enthusiasts or supporters of teams and certain hobbies. This versatility strengthens the value proposition of the name, going some way to justify the registration fee of $2,854.45. When one […]

Domain Name Sales Activity – 27th February to 5th March

Another week has passed and our domain sales continue to come through thick and fast. In fact, recently we’ve experienced some of our strongest demand for premium domain names. This time, 6 high quality names were sold within the space of a week. Mjk.com.au was the top seller for the week, with the domain changing hands for a total sum of $1,897.45. We haven’t initially been able to establish what the new registrant might use the name for, and it currently remains parked with Netfleet. However, as with most acronym names, it’s fair to say this one has an underlying […]

Domain Name Sales Activity – 30th January to 12th February

As we rounded out January and began the new month, premium domain sales have shown little sign of slowing down. Following on from the seven names that featured in our last list, this time another four entrants found themselves the story of the last fortnight. A standout winner and a fantastic name in its own right, diy.com.au was registered for a total of $7,309.45. Securing the name was a sole trader who currently operates diyaustralia.com, one of the nation’s most prominent suppliers for a range of custom made kitchens. Not only is this short acronym one of the most recognisable […]

Domain Name Sales Activity – 16th January to 29th January

In the last fortnight, we’ve seen a fast start to the year. Seven premium domain names were registered by our clients. After three and a half months without an acronym featuring on our list – quite an unusual absence – two acronyms emerged among the highest sellers, also joining the usual likes of descriptive names. With a price tag of $7,049.85, advent.com.au was the number one seller in this edition of our report. The name was secured by Advent Private Capital Pty Ltd, one of Australia’s most experienced private equity firms based out of Melbourne with over 30 years history. […]

Domain Name Sales Activity – 5th December to 18th December

With Christmas less than a week away, it would appear that a couple of our clients have secured themselves an early present in the form of some excellent domain names. As we noted in our last premium domain name sales report, the trend has again focused on keyword domains. In this edition of our sales report, one of our clients was lucky enough to secure themselves two premium domain names. The registrant, a sole trader based in Sydney, was able to attain sofas.com.au as well as homewares.com.au. In the case of the former, the name was registered for a final […]

Your Chance to Claim Gold

Every so often, here at Netfleet we’re involved in the sale of a domain name that we know will capture the attention of the domain name community. This time, we’re confident our latest high profile domain gold.com.au, will eclipse several records. What makes us so confident? First of all, a name of this nature has broad appeal to a wide range of people. Not only would domainers be eyeing the sale with a view to make an investment in a potentially lucrative asset, but end users would also stand to gain from access to this web address. Besides gold being […]

Domain Name Sales Activity – 7th November to 4th December

As we roll into December and prepare to farewell another year, we’ve seen business owners take a more subdued approach to domaining. In their place however, domainers have remained engaged and picked up some great value names. The trend this time saw keyword domains take centre stage, with descriptive titles appearing to take the fancy of domainers. We detail the registrations here in our latest premium domain name sales report. Starting our list this time around, audiologist.com.au was scooped up for $1,755.55. The new registrant, a Queensland-based full service online marketing solution business, will no doubt have attained this name […]
